Nose
Trim your nose hair. Be sure to clip it once a week. Nothing will mess up an interaction like a rouge nose hair. It's like a terrible car accident; people can't help but stare at it in horror. And for no reason should you get a nose ring. It's for rebellious teenage girls, not attractive men.
Teeth
Strengthen your smile with great teeth. Brush, floss and don't skip your annual trip to the dentist. If your teeth are misaligned, and you couldn't afford to fix them when you were young, now's the time. Today, braces are nearly invisible.
If your teeth have been stained by years of smoking or coffee drinking there are also host of new ways to brighten them. Teeth whitening formulas can be purchased in the toothpaste isle and laser whitening is available at the dentist's office.
Breath
Be sure to have some gum or breath-mints on hand to make sure your breath always smells great. Pop one in before you approach and know your breath isn't going to hurt your interaction. Rinsing with a mouthwash after brushing will also help kill bad breath and keep your mouth healthy.
Facial hair
Shave or grow. Trim or shaggy. There are a lot of decisions to make about your facial hair. And most of those should be based on your facial structure, signature style and hair color. Facial hair has to improve the shape of your face, match your overall look and make you look more attractive. If it doesn't do all of these things - you're better off clean-shaven.
Men can grow four different styles of facial hair: the beard, goatee, five-a-clock shadow and moustache. Each offers a unique look and can be used to enhance your appearance. The beard promotes masculinity, the goatee has a slimming effort on your face, five-a-clock shadow offers an urban ruggedness and the moustache can sharpen a round face.
But no matter what facial hair you choose, it should be properly trimmed. Unless you're going to maintain it, it's better to shave it. A shaggy beard doesn't make you look rugged, it makes you look homeless. So trim it up or shave it off.
Beard
The beard offers men a rugged look, a way to accent the jaw-line of round faces and a chance to hide small chins. While not as popular as being clean shaven, the beard can be used to as a style tool to make you more attractive. However, it should not be grown just because you're too lazy to shave each morning. The beard is actually a lot of work. It must be combed and trimmed every day to keep it looking great.
Goatee
The goatee has exploded in popularity over the last decade. It's to the point now where too many men are wearing them. The goatee offers men a rugged yet appealing look, can help thin round or chubby faces and distract people from a receding hairline. A great goatee will always be well-trimmed, thick, and make you look more attractive. It must be washed and trimmed daily.
Five-a-clock shadow
The definition of urban ruggedness. It mixes rough-and-tumble with a casual, professional cool. And it's not for the lazy. The edges of your five-a-clock shadow should be trimmed with a razor every day to ensure the upper half of your cheek is hair-free. Your facial hair should also be trimmed every two or three days to ensure it doesn't get too long.
Moustache
The definition of maturity and warmth. The moustache is a mix of confidence, calm, and class. Best worn by men into their thirties and only by those that suit them. Moustaches should be worn ultra thin or thick and bushy. They can be used to liven up your appearance, add a touch of gentlemanly class or hide scars, and must be trimmed daily for optimum appearance.
Clean-shaven
Most men are best off going clean-shaven. It offers them a healthy, vibrant and confident look. For most men, it involves shaving daily. This may take a couple minutes each day, but it doesn't run the same grooming risks of facial hair either. And it's a lot easier to remove it all, than to perfectly trace and trim.
To shorten your shaving time, find a water-proof electric razor and shave in the shower. If you're using a straight-edge or multi-blade razor - take your time. Nothing ruins a man's appearance faster than a cut on the face.

| Facial hair must match personal style |
|
Facial hair must compliment your personal style - not contradict it. Be sure to match your shaving preferences to your personality, hairstyle and wardrobe. It's going to look awkward if you're got luscious wavy hair, clothing that's urban professional and a massive beard. Not correctly choosing five-a-clock shadow or clean-cut over the beard can instantly ruin your look. - allstardatingtips.com |
