Fashion Tips For Women

continued...

Hosiery
The bare-legged look may seem chic, but there are veins, bruises, uneven tans and razor stubble to contend with. Unless you have flawless legs, opt for a nude-colored, sheer pantyhose instead. Or spice things up with a dark colored or patterned pantyhose.

Sunglasses
Protect your eyes and stand out by picking a different color lens or style of sunglass than everyone else. Pick a red, yellow or green lens in a traditional frame. Or pick an unconventional frame such as circular, over-sized or aviator. Either way, you'll look great and separate yourself from the crowd.

Sunglasses can also help round square faces and square round faces. This is done by choosing a frame that's the opposite of your face shape. This means square frames for round faces and round frames for square faces. This simple step instantly transforms the appearance of your facial structure.

Hats
Hats are not as attractive as hair. Wear a stylish cap in the fall. A cowboy hat when you're on the ranch. A knitted toque to keep your ears warm in the winter. Otherwise, show off your hair.

Coats
Have something nice to place over your shirts and suits. There's no point looking amazing only to throw a shabby coat overtop. If you want something better look no further than leather. If a sleek leather jacket can make Angelina Jolie look hotter, imagine what it can do for you.

AGE ADVICE

Trade sexy for seductive
(Ages 15-20) Young women are trying to be objects of sexuality too soon... and overdoing it. Enough of the belly shirts and ridiculously short skirts. If you dress like a sex tart - you risk getting treated like one. If you want men to notice who you are, not just your receding hemline, dress with a seductive class. Trade the mini-skirt for a knee length skirt with a seductive slit up the side. One says easy, the other creates intrigue.

Be sure not to show too much skin. Tease your curves and attributes (bust line, legs, midsection and butt), but don't give them away for free. If you seduce a man's imagination, he'll remember you, instead of forgetting what you looked like the instant he sees another over-sexified woman. Be the girl everyone chases, not the one that's quickly recycled.

Become a suit, with style
(Ages 21-35) Moving into the workplace often means changing your wardrobe. For many women this is going to means wearing suits. This transition is often dreaded, but should be welcomed. It you learn what colors and cuts look best on you, you'll be able to immediately demand more respect from your competitors. If you look good, people will assume you are good.

Purchase one suit specifically for after-work functions. A solid black suit with a white shirt that shows off some cleavage, red lipstick, a red necklace and red shoes screams seductive confidence. If a function is more casual toss a black suit jacket over a designer t-shirt and jeans for an urban hipster look.

Avoiding the fashion rut
(Ages 36-54) Keeping stylish will separate you from your peers. Too many women fall into a fashion rut after their mid-thirties and never update their wardrobe again. This can cause them to fall decades behind and look less than impressive. Just dressing well will help separate you from most of your competition.

Look to Hollywood's similarly-aged leading ladies. Copy their styles. Don't feel you have to radically change your look as you get older. Julia Roberts, Rene Russo and Halle Berry all still look just as good as they did in their twenties. There is no reason you can't too.

Use style to dominate the competition
(Ages 55+) Once again, keep looking to Hollywood's leading ladies. Copy their styles. Oprah Winfrey, Katey Sagal and Susan Lucci still look great and dress great. While your competitors reminisce about the past, use the latest fashions to catch the attention of all the best singles in your age range... or even those half your age.

FASHION TIPS
Low-key necklaces and rings

Its important women keep it simple when it comes to jewelry. A simple chain, a locket, beads or rosary are all you need around your neck. Let your clothes make your statement, not your jewellery. The same goes for rings. Not every finger needs a ring. If you have to have multiple rings decorating your hands their design should be unique or simple.
